Company description

Domein Groot Besselink is a small campsite with 35 camping pitches, 5 camper pitches, 2 holiday villas and 1 apartment/studio. We offer guests the possibility to camp with a camper, tent or caravan, or to stay in one of the other accommodation possibilities.

There is a small terrace with 8 tables at the campsite.

Contact with the guests/customers is mainly by telephone or e-mail. During the stay of the guests we commune face to face.

Which data do we collect?

Upon arrival or at the time of booking, we ask guests to write their name, address, telephone number and any e-mail address on a registration form. These forms are collected in a folder with the details of guests who are currently staying at the campsite and of guests who have made a reservation for a certain time in the future. When guests have left and paid, forms are saved in another folder.

We receive e-mail addresses through e-mail traffic when people contact us. This information will automatically appear in our e-mail program.

When people contact us by phone, we will note the telephone number if we are asked to call back.

When people make a payment by transfer to our bank account number, these details are in our accounting program.

On the terrace and on the campsite can be paid by PIN payment. The bank details of the customer are not registered with us, but with the company that processes the payments and transfers them to us. This company is called Sumup.

How do we guarantee privacy?

The folder with registration forms is kept in a cupboard in the reception, which is closed with a key. When guests have left and paid, the forms are saved in another folder. This folder is in the office and only personnel has access to it.

Every mobile phone that is used within the company, for telephone traffic and e-mail, is protected with a password/code.

Laptops that are used within the company for e-mail and accounting are protected by a password.

Our website www.grootbesselink is equipped with a SSL certificate.

Data to third parties

The personal data are protected by the companies with whom we work for the execution of our company or to provide better service to our guests.

We conclude an agreement with these parties for the protection of privacy.

How long do we save?

We keep the registration forms according to the statutory period linked to the tax law, namely 7 years. According to this law, we must record and store the names and addresses of the guests.

We remove e-mail addresses from our e-mail system if they have not been used in the last month.

Who is responsible for maintaining privacy?

Rights of our guests

Our guests have the right to ask for the removal of the data.

Our guests are entitled to inspect their own data.

Our guests are entitled to rectification of the data if they are incorrect.
